A LITTLE INTRO
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by how images come to life on a screen. I got my first SLR in high school and went on to study film at Emerson College, where I learned lighting, composition, and even developed my own prints in the darkroom.
After moving to Los Angeles to work in film and television production, I would be known to take headshots for my actor friends whenever I could.
When I moved back to the Boston area and started a family, photography became more personal. I continued producing commercials by day, but I also made it a priority to capture our annual family portraits — wanting to hold onto the moments with my kids while they were still little.
Along the way, I combined my love of storytelling and community, serving as Community Co-Coordinator for Healthy Kids Running Series in Tewksbury, where I managed social media, website content, and race-day photography. I’ve more recently expanded into social media management and content creation for Oak & Iron Brewery in Andover and volunteer my creative services for Uncommon Closet in Lawrence.
In 2024, I brought my over 25 years experience together to launch One Nice Photo — specializing in portrait sessions for busy families who just want that “one nice photo” together, along with personality-driven headshots and thoughtful event photography.
I know more so now than ever that the days move fast. Let’s make sure you have something beautiful to hold onto!
